The arrest of Professor Abdel Haq, on Wednesday, December 7, 2011,
aims to silence the voices of Palestinian intellectuals and academics
who are struggling to expose the continuous crimes of the Zionist state
and who are active on the local and international levels to build solidarity
networks that struggle to end Israeli Apartheid in Palestine. Professor
Abdel Haq is a lawyer and lecturer of Political Economy at An-Najah
National University.
