Ran Greenstein, an Israeli academic now working at the University of the Witswatersrand in Johannesburg produced a critique of a Robert Fine article (including harsh criticism of the role of Engage), and Fine has in turn replied to this. These contributions to the debate are clear and level-headed, and respectful of each other’s arguments.
There are many responses on the Engage website which are personally abusive of Ran Greenstein (to which Greenstein replies with considerable patience and dignity) we post the link to these in order to allow readers to see the low level of argument employed by many opponents of the boycott.
