Canadian gay film-maker, John Greyson withdrew his film ‘Covered’
from the Toronto International Film Festival in protest against their
inaugural City-to-City Spotlight on Tel Aviv.  In the Canadian
Jewish News, Israeli Consul General Amir Gissin described how this Spotlight
is the culmination of his year-long Brand Israel campaign.

Israeli director Udi Aloni is supporting the Canadian protest and is
calling on Israeli artists to take the same steps.
