A year ago Southampton University succumbed to Zionist and Government
pressure and cancelled International Law & the
State of Israel: Responsibility, Legitimacy and Exceptionalism Conference
.
The organisers, with the support of hundreds of supporters launched
legal action to get the university’s actions reviewed. At the same time
they have been trying to negotiate the re-instatement of the conference
but have been told they must pay a prohibitive security bill of £25,000.

The organisers have also asked for judicial review of this effective
ban. These cases are both due in the courts in April and the conference
organisers are appealing for financial support.
