At their meeting at the TUC earlier this month Trade Union friends
of Israel attempted to confuse the audience about the Palestinian Genetral
Federation of Trade Unions’ support for BDS (Boycott, Divestment and
Sanctions). You can view

original BDS call countersigned by Shaher Saad, PGFTU secretary-general.
Further, as announced in May 2008, PGFTU is a member of the BDS National
Committee (BNC). Since then BNC have issued several statements, explicitly
listing the names of the constituent organizations and unions in the
BNC. At no time has anyone in PGFTU objected to the inclusion of their
name
